1. eCampus Enrollment and Program Updates
The Committee reviewed current enrollments in the WUSD eCampus program spanning the K-12 grades. The number of student enrollments in the program increased 59% from October 2017 (128 to 204). This combines full time, part-time, and credit recovery enrollments. New eCampus course offerings will be discussed as part of the future presentations of course books and programs of study at the high school and middle school levels.
2. Fiber Optic Project Update
The Committee was briefed on information regarding the Watertown Collaborative Fiber Optic Network (WCFON) project between WUSD and the City of Watertown.
3. WUSD Technology Plan Update
Basic information of the developing WUSD Technology Plan were revisited. The plan will follow the Future Ready Framework and will shape future strategic goals for the District around multiple gears of the framework.
