Former National Council of Teachers of Math (NCTM) president and long time UW-Milwaukee professor of math education, Dr. Hank Kepner, will be in Watertown on Tuesday, November 15 to discuss curriculum and instruction with our math team.  Dr. Kepner commits a great deal of time conferring with mathematics teams across the nation with the goal of helping departments redesign and realign programs.  The purpose of his visit, one in a series of discussions, will be to help us with an internal review of our secondary math program in light of new state standards and an emphasis on rigor and relevance.
