This Message Center is organized and operated by David Vitale Your students are synthesizing information, connecting new ideas with an existing understanding of how the world around them works, communicating, and networking using 21st century tools.  How are their classroom experiences leveraging advances in technology so that what they're expected to learn remains relevant in terms of what they need to know to in 2006 and beyond? 

Reading, writing, and critical thinking have never been more important than now.  But successful readers, writers, communicators, and thinkers are not defined by all the same terms that defined their success in an age when powerful new tools and a connection to the world did not exist. 

This site contains many exciting tools that make classrooms and learning experiences more relevant to life in the early 21st century. Teachers will promote the communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills that come from interacting with people, ideas, and content in ways seldom before possible.
