Principal Kent Jacobson presented the profile and building level academic goals for the current school year at Lincoln Elementary School. The presentation will be repeated at the meeting of the full Board on November 23.  Mr. Jacobson also led a school tour for the Committee. 

Graduation Policy - Civics Exam Requirement-

The Committee reviewed draft policy language regarding the new Civics Exam requirement for all high school graduates beginning in the 2016-17 school year.  This year's junior class will take the exam during the second semester of the current school year.

2016-17 RMS Program Proposal - Intro to Agriculture

The Committee reviewed a proposal submitted by Jonathon Ganske to reinstate an agriculture course at Riverside Middle School.  This course would be taught as an online elective by Mr. Ganske with resources currently available in the high school program.  The RMS program of studies will be voted on by the full Board at its January meeting.
