Principal Brad Clark shared school demographic information along with performance goals and data in the areas of reading for the current school year. The presentation will be repeated at the full BOE meeting on March 28.

School Safety Plan Update- 

Ann Rumpf, school psychologist, shared the history and current status of the WUSD Crisis Response guide and threat assessment process.  The WUSD protocols are a model for other districts seeking to develop or maintain effective response plans.  

Districtwide Collaborative Time Research Study-

Dave Vitale updated the Committee on the research and discussions focused on adopting an all-schools common collaborative time for the 2016-17 school year.  The purpose of the time would be to coordinate meetings for assessing student mastery of curriculum-based learning targets, co-planning among teachers and staff, professional development, and meetings across multiple schools.  It is anticipated that a resolution will be presented to the full Board at its May meeting following additional updates regarding sample schedules, associated costs, transportation, and other related matters.
