Summer School 2011 Preview and Discussion

Changes to the 2011 Summer School session were presented by Erin Meyer, program director.  90 minute blocks of instructional time will be offered for middle level students in need of support for reading and mathematics.  Science and Social Studies enrichment blocks will also be new for 2011 for middle school students seeking extended learning opportunities.  Also new for 2011 is a second session of Health 9 for incoming freshmen.  This course offers new students the opportunity to earn 1/2 credit of health that can be granted toward their 23 credit graduation requirement. 

Summer registration begins April 7 and concludes on May 7.  Once again, registration will be conducted online.  More information will be sent home to families in March.
